Just reading about some of the people who were murdered in the Paris attacks on Friday nite. The potential of so many young people which now evaporates. Engineer, PhD candidate, architech, young lovers, teacher, lawyer, cab driver, musicians ... the senseless carnage of innocent civilians is barbaric and depraved. These were people with the freedom to choose their life path and many had found what would have been careers and livelihoods that would sustain them and make them contributing members of society. It is hearbreaking and craven that these folks were cut down at the very beginning of their professional lives. Additionally there were quite a few parents whose children will now be forever torn, left with a huge hole in their hearts wondering what if .. and why .. and mourning forever the loss of their mother/father whom they never really had the opportunity to know.
There are: mothers/fathers/daughters/sons/brothers/sisters/aunts/uncles/grandparents/boyfriends/
girlfriends/wives/husbands all gone in a calculated shootout by losers who could not find their way into the society that they were born into, or that their parents chose so they might have a better life ... but they chose to turn their backs on what they could not comprehend and then chose to be with bullies/killers/barbaric folks who trained them how to become insane killers themselves. Where was the moment of questioning/thinking that would turn you away from this barbarism. Ahh the thought that they would kill you if you did not do what they said ... The chance to die with countless virgins coming to clamor over you ... Get a real life ... Like those you chose to cut down senselessly at restaurants that you did not go to, bars that you did not enter, a rock concert that you were brainwashed into believing was the epitome of the crusaders. R e a l l y ! !
My thoughts are with those left behind who will have years of therapy, long walks, long talks and moments of unbridled silence, tears and gnashing of teeth as they spend the rest of their lives wondering who their children, friends, familiy members might have become and what they might have accomplished if not for the senseless crazy actions of 8 dystopian brainwashed individuals.
